  • 03Open the windows and doors

※DO NOT use ventilation fans because turning the switches on or off can create a spark that will ignite the gas.

    Ventilation tips

    • ① Open tall, large windows and the front doors.
Liquefied petroleum (LP) gas is heavier than air and tends to accumulate on the floor.
    • ② Open two or more windows and the front doors.
Effective ventilation is difficult to achieve with only one window or door open.
Open the windows and doors as far as possible.
  • 04Close all gas valves.

Close the gas valve behind the range and the valve at the gas meter. If you have a dual tap gas valve, make sure that both valves are closed.
